Jonah: Now remember, people, don't try looking us up in the phone book. And if Mr. Kincaid answers the phone, don't say anything about our eBay auctions. Especially don't mention that we're selling his soundtracks. You got it? We'll get to today's featured item in a minute.
Stanley: What? Don't tell them that shit!
Jonah: Ok, where did these albums come from?
Stanley: Uh, they're mine! They were my uncle's!
Jonah: Including this one, Risky Business?
Stanley: Yeah, yeah! He was, uh, very interested in the origins of Scientology and their tangled web of celebrity converts.
Jonah: Preach on.
Stanley: Well, you know, this is a solid soundtrack to a very famous flick. Music mostly by Tangerine Dream! A lot of people dig this flick. There's this dude, kingcutie, he's on eBay too, check out his website, he's got this amazing like, ten page review of this flick. It changed his life or something.
Jonah: What's the big deal? Tom Cruise, his parents are out of town, he throws a big party and gets it on with a hooker. End of story.
Stanley: No, no, no, no no! Repeat after me: manuke, manuke, manuke! You missed the whole movie, man! What happens is, a lot of other, deeper things go down. For example, the movie ends with Tom Cruise thinking he's got it made, right? Like, he's had all these adventures, became a pimp to a dozen callgirls working outta his own crib, along the way wild shit happened left and right, and in the end, he doesn't get in trouble, no jail, parents don't flip out, nothing! And he's like, yeah baby, I'm the man! Nothing can stop me now! Well guess what, chump? You don't even realize it, 'cuz you're a typical suburban moron, but you got ripped off by Lana and her main man, Guido, the real pimp daddy in this movie! Cruise was used!
Jonah: Wow. Who knew?
Stanley: Right on! Now check it, this soundtrack's in great shape. The cover's near mint. There's a dope illustration of Rebecca De Mornay looking very sexy stretched out on the hood of Tom Cruise's fantasy ride. Besides five cuts by Tangerine Dream, you get a classic early eighties slice of reality served up by Prince, Journey, Phil Collins, Jeff Beck, and Bob Seger. There's even a track by Muddy Waters! So start bidding!
